About the "Account Director: Inbound Marketing" role at BioStrata

It’s an exciting time at BioStrata – as part of our ongoing growth, we’re looking for someone to join our expanding Inbound Marketing Department. Your role would be to work as an Account Director on several client accounts to create, drive and help execute strategic inbound marketing plans.

What does the role look like? Challenging, rewarding and fun.

As an Account Director within our Inbound Marketing team, you will lead strategic-level projects across a diverse mix of client accounts. You will manage a team of like-minded colleagues, developing them along with yourself and your clients. Projects are spread across pure Inbound Marketing campaigns, Marketing Strategy and integrated campaigns across our Marketing and PR teams. Your role will include:

  • Working as an Account Director across several inbound clients, supported by a team of Account Managers and Account Executives

  • Interpreting the business challenges faced by BioStrata’s clients (for example, bottlenecks in their marketing and sales funnel) and then making recommendations to solve these issues

  • Creating integrated marketing strategies and plans that are targeted to client needs and objectives, applying an in-depth knowledge of marketing tactics to select appropriate activities and channels that deliver results

  • Managing and executing against plans by briefing and working with our specialist executional writing, design and development teams to deliver results, on deadline and on budget

What are we looking for? An exceptional marketer with a passion for delivering first-class service

Successful candidates will have:

  • A diverse, deep and demonstrable knowledge and experience of marketing, including inbound and content marketing strategy and tactics
  • The ability to quickly diagnose the challenges being faced by a client, drawing upon the full marketing mix to suggest solutions via the development of marketing strategies and associated tactical plans

  • Over 7 years of experience working as a marketer within an agency environment or with a mix of experience across both in-house and agency 

  • Experience working as a line manager to coach and develop direct reports

  • A positive, proactive attitude and someone who will thrive on the chance to take our inbound department to the next level

  • Experience working in life science marketing is preferred but not essential

  • Have the entitlement to work in the UK without work permit sponsorship from BioStrata

  • Remote working is possible with regular attendance in the office required

Salary: Dependent on previous experience
